OUR STORY

The Vault Foundation was founded in 2026, but its story began decades earlier.

Long before there was a foundation, there was a kid in South Florida helping families in need, going door to door and lending a hand wherever his community needed one. That kid was Karin Mas, and he never stopped. Service became his life: as a first responder answering the call for his neighbors, as a volunteer building homes with Habitat for Humanity, and as one of the helpers who showed up when natural disasters struck. Traveling to hard hit states to help feed thousands, and collecting and sending donations to communities in need around the world.

Along the way, Karin today an entrepreneur, community leader, and Honorary Commander of the 482d Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base kept witnessing the same reality: the men and women who answer the call during our emergencies rarely ask for help themselves, even when they need it most.

We believed they deserved better. So in 2026, a lifetime of service became The Vault Foundation a place where our heroes would never have to ask twice.

We called it The Vault, because when one of our own is in need, we open it.

Through community events, fundraising campaigns, volunteer projects, emergency assistance, and partnerships with local businesses and civic leaders, The Vault Foundation brings people together to support the heroes who protect our freedoms and our neighborhoods every day.

Every challenge coin sold, every sponsorship secured, every event hosted, every volunteer hour given, and every donor who believes in this mission becomes part of something bigger.

Because no hero should ever stand alone.
